ICEA, in cooperation with the Supreme Court of Ukraine, held its second educational program in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California, from October 4th to 15th, 2025. The program contributed to developing professional relations and integrating Ukrainian judges into the international legal community.
The program was very beneficial in familiarizing the judges with the American judicial system, methods of law enforcement and peculiarities of case consideration. The introduction to the practice of mediation and dispute resolution provided new ideas and opportunities.
While observing American courts, Ukrainian judges had the opportunity to get acquainted with innovative technologies and methods used in the legal system. The programs contribute to the establishment and strengthening of professional and friendly ties between lawyers of the two countries and helps to further establish cooperation.
Ukrainian judges have the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, traditions and social norms of another country, which broadens their worldview and enriches their personal development.
This program included presentations, meetings and seminars with: judges of the Federal Supreme Courts of California, famous law school of the University of California at Berkeley, management staff of law firm the Signature Resolution and Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco.
