ICEA Vice-President and Program Director Elena Seitz renewed the agreement on
cooperation with the West Ukrainian National University in Ukraine represented
by rector Oksana Desyatniuk. In 2017, the first agreement was signed, and the
fruitful joint work lasted all these years. The parties, understanding the need for
and importance of scientific and professional cooperation, exchange of experience,
guided by the desire for mutually beneficial relations of cooperation and
partnership, adhering to the principle of freedom of contract, have developed
principles of cooperation regarding the performance of functions and tasks related
to mutual obligations.
The subject of this agreement is cooperation with the aim of helping Ukrainian
educators to familiarize themselves with: the American educational and scientific
system, the system of economic development of the United States of America, the
financial system, the system of training young specialists and establishing
professional contacts with colleagues, familiarization with the cultural and
historical monuments of the countries of the United States of America, in
particular, through the joint development of international programs by the Parties
and the formation of groups that will participate in educational programs, and
assistance to the specified persons in the preparation of the necessary
documentation in order to implement the provisions and purpose of this
Agreement.
